I am wondering what is the current decision of how to mount AMBER to the 3.5m.
Alos, after discussing AMBER with few faculties in UC about scientific uses of
AMBER. It seems that it will be interesting and useful to attach a Fabry-Perot
in front of AMBER, so that it can do narrowband imaging and spectrophotometry,
etc..Of course the efficency will go down.
If anyone is interested in this . please contact me and Prof. Oka.
Furthermore, someone from URochester told me to contact
Dr. J. Fischer at the Naval Research Lab, the NRL has a
Fabry-Perot that works between 2-4micron.
