Michael- You have done a great job putting this together. Just a few last minute notes: In the abstract - I disagree with Tony's suggestion of specifying an array of four 1.8m telescopes - this is the comparison of two conceptual approaches. The current Pan-STARRS is four telescopes, but it is understood that 15-20 would be required to equal the entendue comparable to the single 8-m design. To echo Dave Morrison, we should be consistent in emphasizing PHAs rather than NEOs. P6, Spaceguard survey has a goal of discovering by 2008 AT LEAST 90% of the 1km NEOs. Discovery of PHAs requiring small delta V identify future potential NASA mission targets. -Steve Larson LSST LSST LSST LSST LSST Mailing List Server LSST LSST LSST LSST LSST LSST LSST LSST This is message 217 in the lsst-general archive, URL LSST http://www.astro.princeton.edu/~dss/LSST/lsst-general/msg.217.html LSST http://www.astro.princeton.edu/cgi-bin/LSSTmailinglists.pl/show_subscription?list=lsst-general LSST The index is at http://www.astro.princeton.edu/~dss/LSST/lsst-general/INDEX.html LSST To join/leave the list, send mail to lsst-request@astro.princeton.edu LSST To post a message, mail it to lsst-general@astro.princeton.edu LSST LSST LSST LSST LSST LSST LSST LSST LSST LSST LSST LSST LSST LSST LSST LSST LSST
