hotel & Travel Information

We recommend flying into Newark Airport rather than Philadelphia Airport. If you travel during rush hour, Philadelphia traffic can be quite bad. In one of our experiences (DNS), Philadelphia airport baggage handling is painfully slow if you need to check luggage. Our preferred way to travel to and from Newark Airport is via NJ Transit to Princeton Junction. You can get a taxi at Princeton Junction or can take the NJ Transit “Dinky” train to Princeton and then walk to the Nassau Inn. Alternatively, you can rent a car at the airport and drive to Princeton (50 minutes).
The Hyatt Place and the Courtyard are both short taxi rides from Princeton Junction. If you are staying at these hotels, you will either need a rental car or travel with colleagues with rental cars. We are encouraging people to stay at one of these three hotels to simplify travel logistics.
If you do not want to rent a car at the airport, we recommend that you make reservations at the Nassau Inn. If you are staying at the Nassau Inn, you will not need a car and can walk to the meeting and to meals.
