All:

The first half of tonight's time on the 3.5-m is open because the GRIM2
program has been rescheduled due to the instrument being down. I have not
yet been able to find someone to take the time, which is from 2020 - 0045
MDT Sunday night. We have the DIS and DSC available, and the sky is likely
to be photometric with 1 arcsec seeing. The only problem is that the
gibbous moon is up and sets around 0230 or so.

We will take any program which can make good use of the time *AND* is
approved and allocated for future time, first come, first serve. This time
will be charged to your institution's allocation. Send e-mail to me and Ed
Turner (gillespi@galileo.nmsu.edu, elt@astro.princeton.edu) this afternoon.
The decision will be taken by 1800 MDT and notification to all will be
through this distribution.

The situation also exists for the first halves of Monday night and Tuesday
night. We'll deal with this tomorrow, but think about it in the meantime.

Thanks

bgillespie
