The 3.5m will resume science operations tonight (Friday, 8/31). The time
has been allocated to UW and NMSU programs and the observers receiving
the time have been notified by seperate emails. If you submitted a request
for any of the OPEN time and have not heard from me earlier today, you
may assume that I was unable to assign any time to your program. (The one
night of OPEN time that ended up being available was oversubscribed by a
factor of five or so.)
Note that there is open DD time near the end of September which could be
requested for appropriate programs.
