this may be a sensitive topic, but I have compiled some interesting statistics on publications resulting from APO data. I have assembled what I believe is a nearly complete listing of APO publications since 1994. I have also made a judgement for each paper which instruments I thought were responsible for the data. I have posted the lists of refereed and non-refereed publications on my home page along with a very interesting comparison between the APO publication rate and that of several other large telescopes (URL below). I would like to encourage users of APO to take a look at the lists and tell me if I am missing any of your papers, or if I have made any other errors in my compliations. please pass this message on to other observers in your departments who might not receive the APO general mail exploder. thank you for your assistance! gene here is the URL of the APO publications page: http://www.astro.washington.edu/gene/APO/APOpublications.html APO APO APO APO APO Apache Point Observatory 3.5m APO APO APO APO APO This is message 294 in the apo35-general archive.
