To Our Guests and Visitors:

The following message is being resent with more detail information to clear
up some confusion after the initial notice was sent out last week.

Due to the Holiday schedule at Apache Point Observatory, Housing
Reservations can not be accepted during the time period of:  December 15th
to January 3rd.  If you are planning on visiting the site during this time
or the first week in January 1998, please submit your reservations prior to
December 15th.  Reservations will be accepted starting January 4th for
normal scheduling.  If you have an emergency situation and need to obtain
housing during the Holiday schedule, please contact the site by phone. The
limited staff that is working will try to assist you in your request.
