[ Sorry for the duplicate(s)... ]
Due to an invasion by software pirates, I have modified the anonymous ftp
setup for ftp.apo.nmsu.edu (a.k.a. galileo.apo.nmsu.edu).
Anonymous ftp as it existed last week has been limited to just the files
that are accessed from the APO web pages. As it stands, only some users with
an account on galileo can create files or directories within the anonymous
login area. If you find any files that need to be added, or need help
adding files, please let me know.
Anonymous ftp was used to transfer drawings, images, and other useful files.
An account with a password has been created for that purpose; other than the
need to log in, things should look exactly as they did a few days ago.
The username is "guestftp".
Please email me to get the password.
Please let me know if this arrangement is unsatisfactory, or how it can be
improved. I am hoping to re-merge the two accounts as soon as I can figure out
how to make an anonymous account that cannot *ever* write a file.
