This message serves to announce the terminal version of the DISTOOLS
package, v2, which superceeds v2beta.  The package can be found on
tycho.apo.nmsu.edu in
/home/visitor1/gordonr/distools/distools_v2.tar.gz
See also the README file in the same directory.

If you are at APO, you can use the package by running iraf from
/home/visitor1/iraf on tycho.  Simply type "distools" at the cl>
prompt.  The package is installed in /home/visitor1/distools.  For an
example of what changes you may need to make to your loginuser.cl file
see /home/visitor1/iraf/loginuser.cl

No further changes will be made to the package barring the discovery
of significant bugs.  (Should you find any, the author would be
grateful if you did not report them until after the publication of his
thesis.)
