We might have some tricks and tips here at some point, however, WikiMedia has some great documentation over on their site, so take a look over there!
Note that we don't have all the extensions installed that they do, so if you edit something here and it doesn't work as advertised, it's possible we don't have the needed extension. They also tend to run the bleeding-edge version of MediaWiki, so it's also possible that their software has features not available to us yet.
