Here's an explanation of the ident files 1 - fuv only identified 2 - ident number in xg-gsp.fits file 3 - GALEX name 4,5 - GALEX position, RA & DEC 6 - distance from center of galaxy, in arcmins 7 - distance from center of galaxy, in kpc, assuming heliocentric velocity of galaxy is part of Hubble flow [change to galactocentric?] 8 - redshift of object. -1 if not known. Given as '0' if identified as star. Objects measured spectroscopically as star have real zeros (with decimal point) 9 - Simply classification: f-from selected foreground galaxy itself; q-qso; s-star; u-unclassified 10 - Measured (mean) FUV flux between 1450 and 1750A, units of e-15 11 - FUV mag, from xg-gsp.fits data 12 - comments, other IDs, etc
