NGC3344 - A few BG galaxies, at reasonably interesting impact parameters, but stellar disk looks small NGC3351 - good QSO at 34 kpc; some other bright BG gals beyond 70 kpc NGC1399 - Fornax cluster; #99 (==CGF07-01) near NGC1427A (z=0.0068), 1.1 arcmin away, or 9 kpc; close group of 4 BG gals about 100 kpc from 1399 itself. Background cluster at z=0.112 known about (e.g. Hilker 99, A&AS, 134, 75). Might be possible to extend the mapping beyond N1399 itself (although not SDSS field). NGC4631 - Need to check for HI between these two gals; there are few sources between the two galaxies. NGC1042 - Couple of BG sources below 50 kpc, both reasonably bright. NGC1744 - Three gals below 50 kpc, one faint. All far from stellar disk. NGC2768 - New QSO discovery, 54 kpc from gal. Not much else below 100 kpc NGC4559 - QSO 31 kpc away, but faint, 0.3e-15. Lot of galaxies at z~0.025 above 70 kpc. Perhaps good for outskirts mapping of HI. NGC5055 - Lot of BG galaxies, but on the faint side.
