Hello all,
  Thanks again to all for coming to the SWG meeting in Seattle last
week.  I hope to get two things out to you in the next few days: 
    -Minutes of the meeting.
    -A strawman summary of the observing modes and requirements for
      each of the major science areas we've identified as drivers for
      the LSST. 

  In the meantime, now is the time for us to think about the timing of
the next meeting.  I would like to hold a phonecon in mid- to late
February, and a face-to-face meeting in Tucson in the third week of
March (given my teaching schedule, that works out best for me.)

  On the phonecon, please send me the dates that will work for you for
a two-hour phonecon in the afternoon (East Coast Time) for February
10-14, and 17-21. 

  For the Tucson meeting, let me suggest Tuesday and Wednesday, March
18 and 19, or Saturday and Sunday, March 22-23.  I would like this to
be a working meeting, not just a time to listen to presentations, in
which we spend much of the time working in small groups, putting
together the detailed science cases, and developing the observing plan
(depth, cadence, sky coverage, filters, etc.) that will enable that
science.  There is a workshop in Tucson on the epoch of reionization
on March 20-22, which I am planning to attend.  
  So please let me know which, if either, of these two dates:
  March 18-19  
  March 22-23

  you could make.  Please respond soon; I'd like to settle both the
phonecon and the Tucson meeting in the next week.
