Subject: Fwd: Tsunami simulations ?

A friend of mine who worked on the NEES proposal (Network
for Earthquake Engineering Simulation) when it was submitted
(at NCSA here in Urbana)  tells me that the proposal had a tsunami
component at one time. She was not sure of the current status.
We'll try to follow up.
There is also the question how one can relate the study of
earthquake generated tsunami to study of tsunamis due
to asteroids.
