Hello all,
Let me remind you that we have a phone conference next Monday,
December 9, of the LSST science working group, to discuss the science
drivers for the telescope. The meeting will start at 2 PM East Coast
Time, and will last roughly 2 hours. The call-in number is
888-455-9640. We have one person that I know of who will be calling
from outside the US, namely Kem Cook; Kem, you should call the number:
773-756-4618. If there is anyone else who will be unable to make it,
or who will be abroad and plans to call in, please let me know!

The following is a suggested agenda; please suggest further items
for discussion. As you can see, this agenda needs some fleshing out.

   Reports from Work Groups:
-Weak lensing: Tony Tyson and the <a
      href=http://astro.princeton.edu/~dss/LSST/lsst-general/msg.24.html>memo</a>
      he sent around.

      -Near-Earth asteroids:
Al Harris said that he will have thoughts to report on survey
	 strategy.

-News on the astrometry front: Dave Monet

What about the rest of the work groups? I have not heard a peep
since our October Princeton meeting of work happening on KBO's,
variable objects/transients, or supernovae. Can we hear from a
representative of each of these groups describing where things
      stand?

Report from Pan-Starrs: I know that a number of you (at least
Harris, Monet, Jewitt and Kaiser) were at the Pan-Starrs science
workshop a few weeks ago: what was learned from that? Is there a
summary document from that meeting that we can look at?

Status of documentation: There was a desire to put all LSST-related
documents together on the web. Also, we need summaries of the various
mini-workshops on LSST-related science held in Tucson over the past
two years: Sidney Wolff was going to work on that.

Plans for the next meeting (on Thursday, January 9, at the AAS
meeting), and the next face-to-face meeting after that, (Tucson in March?)
