Hello all,
Thanks very much for your many comments; I find myself agreeing with
the vast majority of them, and am working on incorporating them now.
It's amazing how many typos have crept in, and how many all of you
have been able to ferret out!
The largest general comment I'm getting from people concerns the
4-telescope Pan-STARRS, and what science it will accomplish before an
etendue 250 system would come on line. The present document
admittedly doesn't address this question; I see this, and related
questions how LSST fares in the context of the full panoply of other
future missions (SNAP/JDEM, GAIA, and many others) as the main topic that we
as the SWG need to tackle next. Needless to say, we're not in a
position to address this question adequately on the timescale of the
present report. I am planning to add words to Chapter 11 (What lies
ahead) to this effect.
