Data clustering analysis with SDSS large scale structure catalogs
The large scale clustering of galaxies is a powerful tool to constrain cosmology. Using SDSS data we can calculate the monopole and quadrupole of the correlation function and constrain deviations from Lambda-CDM.
To reach such goal we consider the use of the EG estimator (Simpson et al. 2012, Reyes et al. 2010, Zhang et al. 2007)
which is sensitive both to weak lensing and the growth rate of structures. We thus aim to combine WL from CFHTLens and CFHT-Stripe 82 with peculiar velocities from roughly 300,000 CMASS and 100,000 VIPERS galaxies. We also focus on optimal methods to quantify the amount of systematic errors and compute covariance matrices through mocks.
