Subject: Aug 23-24 3.5m observations unlikely

This is to alert schedule science programs on the APO 3.5m for Aug 23-24 
(PU02, UW06 and UC02) that it now appears quite unlikely that the 
telescope will be out of shutdown mode and ready for science ops on that 
weekend.  Further info will be provided durng the next week as 
prognostications about the shutdown endgame become more reliable.
