Unless there are unexpected developments in the final stages of the repair of the azimuth drives, the 3.5m should be ready to go back on the sky tomorrow (Wed, 12/11) night. Roughly the first half of the night will be required for on-sky engineering befoer the telescope is ready for science operations. Thus, if all goes well and the weather cooperates, science operations will resume with the scheduled UW05 program. If things go particularly smoothly, there is some possibility of a fragment of time for the UW04 program near the end of the first half. The observers for those two programs will want to stay in contact with the scheduled Observing Specialists to follow last minute developments and scheduling.
