  I suggest that we place a videocamera at APO, pointing at the
white board on which the observing specialists keep notes
on the current schedule, instrument problems, etc.  The videocamera
output could be sent to a WWW page every minute or so.

  In this fashion, all users of the 3.5-m at all institutions 
could make themselves acquainted with the status of the 
telescope and schedule and instruments, 24 hours a day.
