Subject: APO 3.5m status

Largely due to longer than anticipated delivery times for some
components of the modified (safety enhanced) mountings of the
secondary and tertiary, resumption of science operations will
be delayed significantly beyond the previously announced date of
November 25.  The additional shutdown time may be about two weeks,
which would be until approximately December 8.  A more definite
schedule will be announced when it is available.
