I regret to announce that it will be necessary to extend the shutdown
of the APO 3.5-meter by another few weeks in order to make essential
modifications to the mechanical mounting and movement mechanisms for
the new secondary and the tertiary. A more specific schedule for the
resumption of science operations will be announced as soon as it is
known.
As always, I ask that institutional schedulers and Users Cmte. members
help to insure that their affected observers are informed asap.
