Offered as a new resource, Apache Point now has a web-oriented technical document database available for your use and/or submissions. http://www.apo.nmsu.edu:591/CPL/techdocsite/default.htm (password not required) The database was created to inventory and store the many technical drawings, text, and support documentation that are provided to APO by member institutions, engineers, and projects. It also provides immediate access to documents which are in hard copy and electronic formats (.dxf, .ps, .gif, .txt), and provides detailed instructions on how to locate specific documents or perform broad searches. If you would like your documents stored on the database, you can follow the easy instructions provided at the website, or you can notify me by e-mail and send your documents to APO's .ftp/pub/techdocs. This database currently has over 300 records and is updated daily. Also, existing technical document sites supported by APO will eventually be absorbed into this database and discontinued. I hope you will take advantage of this resource and if you have any questions or comments, I will be glad to talk with you.
