	PRELIMINARY ARC 3.5M *PARTIAL* SCHEDULE FOR 3RD QUARTER 1998
			     E. TURNER 6/16/98


			NOTES: ***PLEASE READ***

	This partial schedule covers only the first five nights of July,
	up until the July 6-31 (inclusive) shutdown.  The remainder of
	the 3Q schedule (August and September) will be issued before the
	end of June.  I apologize for any inconvenience.

	DIS grating selections are indicated in parentheses below.

	NMSU Note: Only NM06 and NM08 for now.

	NM06 = NM06 Harr G/D R (high)
	NM08 = NM08 John D/G R (high)
		Note that observers for NM06 and NM08 may wish to switch
		between DIS and GRIMII in some pattern TBD.  Please inform
		APO staff of plans and first instrument of the night as far
		in advance as possible.

	MOST PROGRAMS ARE SCHEDULED IN HALF NIGHT BLOCKS.  THE FIRST HALF OF
	EACH NIGHT EXTENDS FROM EVENING TWILIGHT (SEE CALENDAR DISTRIBUTED
	BY GRETCHEN) UNTIL 0110 MDT.

	FIRST HALF IS INDICATED BELOW AS "A"; THE SECOND HALF THEN 
	EXTENDS UNTIL MORNING TWILIGHT AND IS INDICATED BELOW AS "B".

	PU01 = 40 MIN EACH TIME IT IS SCHEDULED.

	INSTRUMENT CHANGE TIMES ARE NOT INCLUDED BELOW BUT WILL BE INDICATED
	IN THE SCHEDULE ISSUED FROM APO BY GRETCHEN AND WILL BE SHARED
	BETWEEN ADJOINING PROGRAMS AS USUAL.
