Hello,

Dr. Rajiv Batia, who will be visiting APO on the 24th, will also
be at Yerkes from the 25th to 29th to demonstrate his Hartmann
wavefront sensor telescope alignment system. If anyone wishes to
participate at Yerkes I encourgae such because there will be plenty
of time to have detailed sicussions with him and to work with the
instrument on the telescope. The 24 inch telescope is presently
out of alignment (the mirrors were just recoated) and the application
of his instrument to perfecting the alignment on it is an excellent
demonstration of its capabilities. Yerkes has dormatory facilities,
should people wish to minimize costs.
