The repairs to SPICam's Cryotiger system are complete and the =
instrument is now cold and operational. We have done preliminary =
evaluations of the bias levels and looking for any scattered light from =
possible chip contamination and everything appears normal.However users =
should verify this for themselves.=20
We will be monitoring SPICam's temperature stability over the next few =
weeks but at this time it appears normal and suitable for science =
observations.=20
I appreciate your patience and understanding during this time when =
SPICam was out of service. As you may be aware a new imager is high on =
our list of CIF projects to replace SPICam which is aging and much of =
which is not maintainable. Studies were done last year and we are =
actively looking for people who are interested in participating in a new =
imager project. If interested please contact Suzanne Hawley=20
