Hello all,
This message is for echelle observers. We have just replaced the
power supply for the QTH lamp, which burned out last week. The new
power supply is a different model because the old one was not
available.
Tests today showed that flats taken with the new power supply look
just like old ones. It's a shade on the bright side, so I recommend
using exposure times no longer than 6s for red flats, 210s for blue
flats. Please do let us know if you notice anything odd about your
flat field data.
Russet.
