I recently completed a DIS run observing the Jupiter/Io system, switching
between spectroscopy and narrowband imaging. The run was very successful - even
including 'objective grating spectroscopy' as a test of narrowband bandpass.
Special thanks to Camron & Russett for making it come together.

I wanted to make sure that in discussions of grating choices for DIS2 that the
mirrors remain available. The rapid switch from imaging to spectroscopy is a
unique capability and should be preserved. I'd appreciate email from other users
who use this capability or have advice on the matter.

cheers-
Nick Schneider (CU)
