Hi,
I was curious to know if, due to the through-put problems that
DIS suffers, anyone has been able to detect the [OII] 3727 line in, say
extragalactic H II regions?
I wish to attempt to do some abundance work with the 3.5-m, as
DIS should be able to easily do, and I was wondering if anyone else
also entertained such a wish (or needs to detect the [OII] line for
other research), and has attempted to compute abundances from DIS spectra?

please email me at mabransf@nmsu.edu

thanks,

Mark Bransford
