One item about DIS that seems like it would be an easy and very useful fix: for MC processed DIS images, there is no indication in the headers whether the Gunn filters were IN or OUT. The turret, grating position, etc. are all in the header, but not the filter information. FILTER1 and FILTER2 keywords do appear in the headers, but their values are always the same regardless of the filter position. thanks, Eric ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Eric Deutsch email: deutsch@astro.washington.edu Department of Astronomy Voice: (206) 616-2788 University of Washington FAX: (206) 685-0403 Box 351580 WWW: http://www.astro.washington.edu/deutsch/ Seattle, WA 98195-1580 Physics/Astronomy Bldg., Room B356F APO APO APO APO APO Apache Point Observatory 3.5m APO APO APO APO APO This is message 50 in the apo35-dis archive.
