Where I am now.
I am currently a postdoctoral fellow in Astrophysics at the Institute for Advanced Study. My CV is here.
Research interests:
Outflows from compact objects -- black holes and neutron stars;
Dynamics; in particular, in relation to
extrasolar planets, protoplanetary disks and circumstellar debris disks (here you can find a popular article about extrasolar planets);
Active Galactic Nuclei at all wavelengths
(here you can find a nice popular article about black holes, Active Galactic
Nuclei and their luminous subclass - quasars);
Ultraluminous Infrared Galaxies and physics of interstellar medium in them;
Multi-wavelength surveys and data mining (e.g., Sloan Digital Sky Survey).
The detailed description of my research is here.
Other.
My kids have a bimodal size distribution.
As an undergraduate, I participated in a students' theatre.
You can check out some truly artistic pictures of Hawaii here.
