Workshop 2004

These webpages describe a hydrocode comparison for a simple disc-planet system. The goal is to improve our understanding of the behaviour of hydrocodes, and to learn how to interpret their results. Under the auspices of the EU-RTN Planets (HPRN-CT-2002-00308), Stockholm Observatory is co-ordinating this effort. Although initiated as part of the Planets network, we welcome contribtions from other sources, since we wish to compare as many different techniques as possible.

In separate pages, we discuss the motivation for this project, the problem specification, and the required file format for submissions. We also have a mailing list where we discuss various aspects of the comparison. We also have some interim results.

Due to a slight change in the problem specification, the deadline for submissions is now the 28th of February, 2005.
