I am a Hubble fellow in the astrophysics department at Princeton University, and in fall 2008 I will be joining the astronomy and astrophysics department at UC Santa Cruz as an assistant professor. My research focuses on star formation and the interstellar medium, with particular emphasis on the formation of massive stars, the structure and evolution of molecular clouds, and global regulation of star formation in galaxies. I approach these problems using a mix of numerical and analytic techniques.
