Gravitational wave data ----------------------- This folder contains the gravitational wave (GW) strain data from The gravitational wave signal from core-collapse supernovae Viktoriya Morozova, David Radice, Adam Burrows, and David Vartanyan Submitted to ApJ, arXiv:1801.01914 The naming convention for all models is explained in Tab. 1 of that paper, reproduced here below. Progenitor EOS Inner angular Gravity Many-body Explosion Label mass [Msun] velocity [rad/s] solver corrections 10 LS220 0 monopole yes no M10_LS220 10 LS220 0 monopole no no M10_LS220_no_manybody 10 SFHo 0 monopole yes yes M10_SFHo 10 DD2 0 monopole yes no M10_DD2 13 SFHo 0 monopole yes no M13_SFHo 13 SFHo 0.2 multipole yes yes M13_SFHo_rotating 19 SFHo 0 monopole yes yes M19_SFHo For each model, we give the GW strain signal due to the matter terms alone, neutrino memory is not included in these files at the moment, though it was calculated for all models. The data are in ASCII format and the two columns are 1:time time since bounce in sec 2:hplus plus polarization of the GW strain times distance in cm The data are sampled at ~20 kHz, but, due to timestep fluctuations in the simulation, the sampling is not perfectly uniform in time. Therefore resampling might be necessary.
