Parking at Newark airport

I typically use this website: http://www.airportparkingreservations.com/newark_airport_parking_ewr You can find different options starting from 6$ prepaid: I've used the ABC Parking and the Newark Airport Long Term Parking, and I was satisfied with rates and service.

Josh Dolence writes:

... there are lots of parking facilities around the airport that are pretty convenient and *much* cheaper than long term parking at the airport. I've used this site to make reservations (and reservations may not be required, but are certainly a good idea):

I've used one of the "The Parking Spot" facilities and a couple different hotels (Renaissance and Doubletree, I think). The hotels tend to be a bit slower because they don't run shuttles as often, typically every 30 minutes or so.

The Parking Spot 2

Paul Price writes:

Last trip of a few days, I used The Parking Spot 2, which is on US 1 near the airport, and it went smoothly and I was happy with the price.

Parking lot G

Ed Jenkins writes:

Parking log G is good for long-term parking -- it is less expensive than than the usual lots, and also serves as an overflow lot if the others are full. However, the downside of lot G is that it not served by the monorail. To get to the terminals, you need to go on a (free) bus, which takes a little longer. So lot G works, but you should allow a little more time to get to your flight.

Parking lot P4

Scott Tremaine writes:

I use lot P4 (on the monorail, one stop from the United terminal) at $24/day or P6 at $18/day (about 20 minutes extra for a bus to the terminals).

You can reserve on-line at http://www.panynj.gov/airports/airport-parking.cfm

Notice there's a coupon for $5/day off at

Parking Lot P6

Chris White writes:

I've parked in P6, which is the cheapest ($18/day) lot officially part of the airport. No reservations needed (or offered), and I doubt the lot ever fills up. The shuttle connects to all the terminals.

P1/3 and P4 are ~50% more expensive but closer to terminals A/B and C. P4 is supposedly the most full lot, and it has some new experimental reservation system, but ever since it was built I've never personally seen it run out of space.
