This evening I took some images of the field for GRB981226 (RA 23:29:27.7,
Dec -23:56:53 J2000.0). The images are available via anonymous ftp to
galileo.apo.nmsu.edu, cd to the directory pub/general/grb981226. I took
three I-band images. The first was 600 seconds, centered on the RA and
Dec given, the 2nd was also 600 seconds, offset from the center by -10
arcsec in x. The 3rd image was 900 seconds, offset from the center by
-10x, -10y. Note, the field is rotated by 90 degrees, so north is on the
right and east is at the top. I did this to obtain a suitable guide star.
It looks like there are two faint galaxies close to the center of the
field.

In the same ftp directory with the grb images are a set of biases and
twilight flats.
