Subject: SPICam availability

SPICam's return to service has been further delayed, unfortunately.  The
current plan is that the repaired Cryotiger unit will be shipped back to
APO today, for arrival tomorrow (9/24).  It could be available for science
observations as early as Wednesday night (9/25), but a day or two later is
also a possibility depending on how smoothly the re-installation goes.

Due to the vendor's very slow response time on this repair, we are buying
a spare unit so that future failures should not take an instrument out of
service for such an extended period.  (DIS uses the same mechanical
cooler.)
