A backhoe working on a construction project at APO has accidentally cut
all of the phone and network cables to/from the Observatory, thus cutting
off their communication with the outside world, aside from cell phones.
It is not yet clear when the connections will be restored, but the phone
company has been called, and there is some hope of being back online by
tonight.

Bruce Gillespie's cell phone (505-430-1692) may be called if you need to
reach APO urgently.
