This is a reminder to those attending the AAS meeting and those who might want to participate by speakerphone/teleconference of the two meetings (each scheduled for 2 hours) during which we will discuss options for instrumentation projects and telescope improvements during the next 2-3 years. AAS is meeting) Both meetings will be held in the Bancroft Room at the Hilton (where the AAS is meeting); one will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 pm on Tuesday, January 8, and the other will be held from 3:30 to 5:30 pm on Wednesday, January 9. There may well be some overlap in content between the two, but I hope that the discussion on the second day can build on what transpires at the first gathering, so please attend both if possible (but one will be better than none, of course). Dial-in numbers for those wishing to participate by phone are available from Gretchen (gretchen@galileo.apo.nmsu.edu) or, less reliably, me. Similarly, some back-up documentation in electronic formats is available from either of us.
