Ed Turner asked me to announce the following:

If you hadn't already heard, we have been running without the use of
the Nasmyth 2 guider camera, the one we use for SPIcam, GRIM, and
DIS. It's being fixed by Photometrics, and we don't know when it's
going to go back in service. It's possible that we may have it
working by the end of this week, but this far from certain.

This doesn't impact the observing much with our instruments except
for SPIcam, and then only for medium and longish exposures where
image drift can be a problem. If your exposures are short (a few
minutes), your program may not be affected.

If you believe that not having the guider for your SPIcam programs
will seriously impact your science, we suggest you:

o use a different instrument to do another approved program, or

o trade your time with another astronomer within your institution, or

o contact Ed Turner and me. We may be able to broker a trade
within the
	  broader ARC community.
