There are five *full* nights of bright time scheduled for engineering
on the APO 3.5m in early September:

Sept. 3, 5, 6, 7 and 10

Due to the large amount of time used recently for engineering, the
unavailability of some components to be used for work on automating
tertiary rotation and other factors, only a small fraction, one or
two *half* nights, of this time will actually be needed for EN work.

Therefore, most of this time can be regarded as OPEN and will be
allocated for science on a first-come, first-served basis with
preference given to previously TAC approved programs. Please send
requests to me ASAP with copies to Bruce and Gretchen at APO plus your
institutional scheduler.
