Here are Bob Loewenstein's notes on this version - * Fixed bug discovered by Karen: clear offset button caused a print: tweaker. Fixing the bug in 2.38a1 caused this new one, because this method was redefined in class rect, so I added a print: method to the tweakclass. * Fixed bug discovered by Dan: I had added a new debug option, with menukey comm-2, but comm-2 was used already by priority. Set debug2 to comm`. * Fixed bug (found by me): hitting any 'add' button for preset menus in motor panels would cause crash; fixed by recompiling the indlg2 module for yerk3.69. * Added alert to tell DIS user that (if the situation arises) the requested move is identical to the state of DIS, so no command is sent. (changes in v. 2.38a1 included in v. 2.39) * Fixed bug discovered by Karen: the offset panel would give a stack underflow when redrawn. Due to new rect method for yerk3.69 * Put in alert about using at least 'thousands of colors' otherwise things may look real screwy. I assume most people now have >256 colors. * Took out command-L for loading source files, because of possible confusion to load image files from disk. * Fixed sys 8 apparition where scroll bar arrows aren't shown unless enabled (changes in v. 2.38 included in v. 2.39) * DIS grating commands changed to not send a command if nothing has changed...this should fix the slit problem. * Enhanced platinum control windows (camera and motor controllers). Changes to textctl for nicer thumbwheel appearance * Eliminated HRI code, not just the menu option * Eliminated Guider code * New weather display (based on jrf's modified keywords) * System 8 compatible (made two movem instruction changes in 'pstart' APO APO APO APO APO Apache Point Observatory 3.5m APO APO APO APO APO This is message 258 in the apo35-general archive.
