I've plotted examples of the 60 Hz noise from the DIS Calibration Archive(*) back to November 1994. The 60 Hz noise level is now lower than it's ever been. Michael Strauss has put the plots and a short summary on the Princeton WWW server ( http://www.astro.princeton.edu/APO/DISnoisefixed/index.html ). If you want to be more quantitative, the before and after bias frames that Jon Brinkmann obtained are availabe via anonymous ftp at galileo.apo.nmsu.edu:/pub/images/au/. Alan Uomoto April 15, 1997 (*) See message 129 in the apo35-general mailing list for the request for DIS Calibration Archive data. These data will be generally available as soon as we install a new disk at JHU (but we're accepting contributions now). Thanks to Don Hoard, Luisa Rebull, and Gordon Richards for the data they've already sent.
