TUI 1.7.3 and later requires Python 2.5. This was an accidental change in dependencies for which I apologize. I can restore Python 2.4 compatibility if necessary, but it will be a day's work or so. So: how badly is this affecting people? So far I know of one user who was bitten by it (that's how I found out about it); fortunately he was able to upgrade his Python and all is now well. For those considering an upgrade: I recommend Python 2.6.x. Python 2.7.0 was just released a few weeks ago, but I have not tested TUI with ot (though I fully expect it to work). Regards, -- Russell P.S. Python 2.5 was released in summer of 2006, so 2.4 is very old. 2.6 is the recommended version and 2.7 has just come out. P.P.S. Python 2.7.x is the end of the road for Python 2, though it will be maintained for some time to come. Python 3 is where the active development work is going on, but it's a fairly big change and I have no plans to make such a move for now, and when it happens it will be fully intentional.
