Hello all, We have received a new 1200-line red grating for DIS, which has been loaded and tested in the instrument. We haven't been able to characterize the grating on-sky due to summertime weather, but lamp spectra look substantially the same as the previous R1200 grating which got damaged. The new grating still produces spectra near the bottom of the chip, but not quite as far down as the old one. It has very nearly the same dispersion as the previous grating as well. This grating will now be the standard one offered as the R1200 grating. Russet.
